Do you feel sluggish all day?
Are you having trouble sleeping or you wake up with night sweats?
Are you sick and tired of wasting money on medications and high energy bills?

How can you find out if your home’s indoor air quality is affecting your health and comfort?
Simply call Jackson Total Services to conduct A Home & Duct Evaluation. This evaluation will help identify ways to make your home healthier and safer.

The test will identify common problems such as:

Hot and cold spot
Excessive dust
Allergy and asthma suffering
Damp indoor air
Unhealthy indoor air
Noisy or unreliable heating/cooling equipment
Excessive utility bills

How does the test work?

Specially-trained Comfort and Indoor Air Quality Consultants will visit your home and use advanced diagnostic instruments and testing procedures to identify problems that affect your indoor living environment.
During your A Home & Duct Evaluation, your Consultants will:

Inspect existing equipment & duct work.
Evaluate how leaky or airtight your entire home is by using an Infiltrometer™, a computerized blower door system.
Assess your home’s air flow by conducting 'static pressure' tests like a blood pressure check for your ducts to reveal any hidden blockages or design problems.

During your Whole House Comfort Checkup, you will learn how to:

Achieve even, comfortable temperatures throughout your home
Maintain healthy, comfortable humidity levels year-round
Reduce dust, system noise and repair bills
Save money on your utility bills (typically between 10% and 50%)

Should You Have the Air Ducts in Your Home Cleaned?

You may consider having your air ducts cleaned simply because it seems logical that air ducts will get dirty over time and should occasionally be cleaned. Since conditions in every home are different, it is impossible to generalize whether or not air duct cleaning in your home would be beneficial.  Sometimes the contamination may be a symptom of a larger problem.  This is why Jackson Total Service will not clean your DUCTS without fully evaluating your home.
If your family is suffering from allergies, asthma or your house is extremely dusty, your home may have poor air flow, high moisture levels and harmful hidden chemicals & micro-organisms. Call the experts at Jackson Total Services to help identify ways to make your home healthier and safer.

Duct Sealing

The problem with leaky ductwork is that air not only can leak out of you HVAC system and air ducts -- untreated and unclean air and contaminants from the attic can actually be pulled in to the air you and your family breath.  We find 20% to 40% leakage in 3 out of 4 homes we visit.   Since so many air duct systems leak and pull bad air in, poor air quality is a problem that many homes have.

Repairing and patching leaks in HVAC duct systems saves cooling, heating, and fan energy. In air-based systems, ducts deliver all of the heating and cooling to conditioned spaces. Any duct leakage translates into extra air that must be supplied so sufficient heating or cooling reaches the conditioned space. This not only increases effective heating and cooling loads, it also increases fan energy due to increased flow and/or run time. Sealing duct leaks reduces the amount of heated or cooled air the supply fan must handle to deliver the same amount of air to the conditioned space.
